I’m a sucker for gadgets (mostly those who are photography related), music, cinema, internet and, last but not least, photography. I also like almost everything that has to do with sports, nature and silence.

I hate: flashes. You won’t see any photograph in this blog that involves that horrifying object.

Ricardo Jorge Carvalho is a freelance photojournalist based in Barreiro, Portugal.

He studied photography at the Portuguese Institute of Photography in Lisbon and started working as an intern for the portuguese newspaper Público. After that, he had another internship in the portuguese newspaper 24 Horas but soon decided to become a freelancer.

Ricardo is available for assignments in Portugal and abroad but is also interested in working as a staff photographer. Please contact him if you’re interested in his services.
